I ordered their food, which was delivered by Door Dash, so I can't comment on the ambiance. My husband and I were visiting Fairbanks and after a long day of traveling, it was really nice to have dinner delivered to our hotel room! Loved the rice dish with grilled marinated beef and eight different vegetables on top since we hadn't had any vegetables for the entire day! Miso soup was still hot when arrived and the grilled ribs were good too.

The sushi buffet was amazing . We had a group of us for a friend's birthday . Gave us a little room with karaoke. When the waitress took our order she informed us that she had a table of 22 people coming within the hour. So we were prompted to order in an efficient manner. (We took our sweet ass time , we were waiting for a friend ) . She was quick and the food was fresh . We had a friend complain that he got a lot of sushi then he'd imagine. With the beer flowing and the sushi never ending . We had so much fun. For the amount of everything wasn't actually to bad . You are paying for quality and a good time .

Very good food! The interior is typical of authentic Asian restaurants I've been to in Chicago and San Francisco. It's comforting, although certainly not fancy. But go here for the delicious food!

Amazing authentic Korean food. The kimchee was delicious. My favorite was the seafood pancake. I also enjoyed the other banchan, kalbi, and tofu soup

Good food, excellent service, must visit if you're in the area. This is real Korean restaurant by Korean.

A surprising gem of a Korean restaurant in Fairbanks, Alaska! I brought my in-laws, who live in southern California, on holiday to Alaska. I was hoping to find a decent Korean restaurant for them, and I knew their standards were high, but even they loved the authentic food quality at Seoul Gate! The servers are busy, but they work hard and provide good service with a smile. The dolsot bibimbap (hot stone mixed rice dish), soon tofu soup, and galbi tang soup were all flavorful and delicious. The banchan side dishes contained surprisingly fresh vegetables. The kimchee pajeon pancake was a bit doughy, not my favorite. The ja jang myun noodles were very good, though perhaps a bit salty. My in-laws enjoyed their yukgae jang-- they were happy to return to Seoul Gate for a second meal on our brief visit to Fairbanks!

Great authentic Korean food. The service was ok, the food make up for the rest Love all the side dishes that came with it, sometime I just want to order another set to bring home. The ambiance was good, has Asian restaurant vibes. Will deff come visit again when I'm in Fairbanks.

Don't judge by the outside. By the looks, it does not impress at all. You go downstairs for both the Korean and Japanese sushi restaurant. However, the ambiance is genuine with cool old school kpop karaoke music videos playing that reminded me of my old college days! The food was really really good. I would say that the bibimbap was better than what I have had in Seattle. Not what I expected. My family had the lunch combo numbers 1 and 2. They both agreed it was outstanding- fast, yummy, and good portions for the price. Check it out
